WOW

I've been debating about going public through my blog but I don't really have many followers so I guess it won't really hurt.  Plus, I don't plan on making any type of Facebook announcement in the near future.

We're pregnant!!

Crazy, right? Yep, totally crazy!  Unexpected, yet expected.  We started officially trying (involved docs and got on meds) in December and within two months I got that long awaited positive pregnancy test!! I'm six weeks along, give or take a day. 

So many thoughts are racing through my mind - it's still too early to tell people but I want to shout it out!!  Gotta get my diabetes under control - doing a pretty good job at it too! I've been referred to an endocrinologist who is on top of her shit and has me on top of mine! Because of my pregnancy, I'm on a nightly dose of insulin and I'm on a restricted carb diet (no more than 120 daily) and of course no sweets.
