Irritated

I really do love my OB but not so sure about the office staff.  They seem to be so incompetent the last few times I've dealt with them.

Last week I called to request a couple things: 1) a letter stating when I had the baby and how long I would be on medical leave and 2) a refill for my pain pills.  I went a few hours later to pick up said items and wouldn't you know they were getting ready to lock up the place and head out early.  Ok, I can't fault them for that because I do the same thing at work.  I was able to get the letter but not the refill because the doc wasn't around and it's not the kind of refill you can do automatically.  Well that's why I called earlier!  AND to find out I have to go three, maybe four days without pain meds doesn't make the pain go away.  Needless to say I was not happy.  I had also dropped off paperwork for my disability policy and called Monday to see about getting the paperwork back because it also needs to be filled out by my place of employment.  I called around 10 am and was told I would be called back.  It's 8:15 am Tuesday and have I been called back? Nope.  And that's not the first time either! Oh, and shouldn't we schedule a follow-up appointment to make sure everything is in working order? Or am I just too anal about things.

I don't know if it's just hormones settling, lack of sleep, or that I'm no longer pregnant, but I just feel like I'm being treated differently.  The front desk girl is great, and so are the nurses that I deal with.  It's just the others who I feel SUCK.

Hence, I'm irritated and it's affecting my milk supply, which is already crappy, and I'm tired.  Happy Tuesday, y'all!
